Ferry Point Golf Course

NYC Department of Parks & Recreation - This challenging project involved the construction of a tournament quality golf course on top of a former uncapped landfill. Environmental mitigation including methane vents were installed to deal with gas while mass excavation and soil import were major components of this project. LAWS self-performed construction of many features including the substantial drainage system, tees/greens, driving range, asphalt pathways, grading of roughs/fairways as well as irrigation system installation. There was an unbelievable transformation of this derelict site into a world class golf course.
