NYC Department of Parks & Recreation - The reconstruction of this soccer field was extended due to deficient conditions of an existing retaining wall. LAWS Construction proposed several alternatives with the owner who ultimately decided to remove the wall and construct a new 330’ poured in place cantilever wall. Field reconstruction work included drainage installation, removal of a waterless toilet building, water supply lines, sod installation, synthetic turf soccer field installation, stairs construction, fencing and sidewalk replacement.
