Carroll Street High Level Storm Sewer

NYC Department of Design & Construction - This project involved the installation of a high-level storm sewer box culvert on CFA piles for approximately 8 blocks. The work also included the installation of several custom chambers to work around existing facilities. New water mains, drainage pipe/structures as well as utility relocations were included as part of the work. The reconstruction of a historic outfall was also completed whereby the headwall stones were reinstalled exactly as they had originally been placed a hundred years earlier. Curb/Sidewalk installation and asphalt restoration capped off the project.
